i did this drawing about 10 yrs ago as well... i was really into 'heavy metal' back then and i was always thinking of some cool female character i could develop a story with, so alot of my work was all about the female form (well not that much has changed since then :P )...

it started out as one of those late night doodles, drawing for the sake of drawing, perhaps boredom at that time... but slowly it turned into a study of conveying depth and perspective in my drawing without the benefit of an actual model or figure to reference... just pure imagination guiding the hand and describing what i wanted to see....

parts of the drawing i do like alot... the pose, the perspective, some of the teched out parts of her outfit...
some of it i could've lived without or done differently, like the electricity emanating from her hands... at about that stage in the drawing i recall realizing that those effects would have been better served in color, so you see alot of unfinished lines there that never got erased.... owell

strangely enough my favorite part of the drawing is the water and her reflection in it.... her hips came out tight too.... maybe i'll revisit this one again and redraw it....

hehe.... vintage maybe.... circa early-mid 90's :P
i just trip out nowadays looking back on work that i remember drawing as if it were yesterday and peeping the date like damn, that was a looong time ago... :P
your bio-mechanical work is excellent by the way.... very nice shading....

hehe, it's pretty weird (and annoying) seeing work even a year old and comparing it to the latest stuff.
shading... sigh... i love to hate it :D

true indeed... the end result is well worth it though... :D
